First Stage Soft Plaster

Functions: Clear heat, dissipate swelling, quicken blood, move qi and relieve pain.

This formula is well balanced. It dissipates swelling, moves blood and qi and clears heat. It contains Huang Bai, Da Huang, Shi Gao, Pu Gong Ying and Shan Zhi Zi to clear heat and resolve toxin. It uses Mang Xiao and Lai Fu Zi to disperse swelling and a plethora of herbs to move blood and qi, relieve pain and dissipate stasis. Because, most of the ingredients in this soft plaster are cold or cool, it is an ideal one to apply to first-stage sinew damage where the foremost principle of treatment is to clear heat and resolve toxin.

Ingredients: sesame oil, beeswax, huang bai, mang xiao, shi gao, da huang, dang gui, hong hua, lai fu zi, shan zhi zi, zi cao gen, tao ren, xue jie, ru xiang, mo yao, and bai zhi.
